Yarns & Stiches
Yarns & Stitches is a group of dedicated knitters, crocheters and sewers who support our Baby Bundle Program by providing beautiful handmade items for the newborns we serve. We get together good conversation and a little knitting and crocheting. We welcome anyone—or to help us from home!
Join Us!
We get together twice a month for good conversation and a little knitting and crocheting. Our sewers who are not also knitters and crocheters join us periodically to deliver their handiwork.
We meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, excluding weeks with major holidays from 10:30 to noon at the St. Angela Merici Hall in Pacific Grove. Check out our calendar and come and join us.
Our Creations
Crocheted & Knit Blankets
Square or Rectangular with side dimensions between 24” and 36”. Soft, lighter-weight yarns & tighter-stitch patterns preferred.
Hats
Minimum circumference: 14.5",
with at least an inch of stretch. Soft, lighter-weight yarns preferred.
Flannel Receiving Blankets
Made using 1 yard each of 2 complementary flannel fabrics
sewn together and top-stitched.
Generous Donations
Our quilts are generously donated from The Monterey Bay Quilters Guild.
