Virtual Shower of Love

We have from the beginning held a baby shower in December to honor the children we serve—and seek support for our work for the following year. Usually this takes place at Crespi Hall at the Carmel Mission and is a fun moment of fellowship, when people can come to learn more about our work and bring in-kind and financial donations to support it. This year, our Shower of Love will be virtual via Zoom due to the pandemic, but will contain unique opportunities to learn about our mission, our work, and the joy we experience in working together to make a difference for local children.

Please join us for a Zoom meeting from 10-11 a.m. on December 5. You will not only hear what we do and how we are making an impact, but will also hear from our volunteers about the experience of working together to make our mission come alive.

If you join us on the Zoom call, you stand a chance of winning one of several prizes, each of which celebrates the skills of our members and the joy of creating home-made baby essentials. Because, “nothing is ever too much to do for a child . . . .”
