The Miracle Mindset

Join us Saturday September 23 from 5 - 7:30 pm at the Hacienda Court at Santa Catalina School for a social event featuring our member and author Joan Luise Hill on “The Miracle Mindset”.

Based on her experiences as co-author of  The Miracle Chase and  The Miracle Collectors, Joan will share how to develop a mindset that is attuned to the miracles among us - which includes practicing generosity of spirit to deepen connections with others and finding meaning in being a miracle to others.  Having recently completed a very different book, Joan will also explore how a mindset of fearlessness and proactivity can help to attract the “wind to our sails” as we navigate challenges and increase peace for ourselves and those we love.  Joan will sell and sign her books at the event.

On either side of Joan’s short program you will enjoy wine from the Nichelini Family Winery of the Napa valley and share hors d’oeuvres with Christ Child friends and family in the beautiful and historic Hacienda Courtyard at Santa Catalina.  You will also have the opportunity to participate in a raffle of multiple items donated by members and supporters—and support our important work.  Raffle items include  a private tour by its owners for 8 of the historic Marsh building in Monterey, a cocktail party for 20 at a Carmel home with views of Point Lobos, a mixed case of Talbott wines, a fall basket from Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma--and more.  Click here to see a full list of our raffle items. Raffle tickets are $25 apiece and 5 for $100, and by law cannot be purchased online.  If you wish to purchase a raffle ticket in advance of the event, contact us; otherwise you can purchase raffle tickets at the event.  You need not be present to win.
